From the client: "Our project presented some interesting challenges for the contractor. One challenge was to keep our business operating in a fashion that would not be disruptive to our employees as well as our customers. Venter Spooner did a good job in blocking off the construction areas and working out a schedule that was compatible with our showroom hours. We also to make a late addition of a mezzanine level after the shell was built and closed in. Working together with the architect, the contractor carried this part of the project through. Together we built the largest furniture distribution center and increased our showroom to be the largest in the State of Iowa."
Details: Major expansion project in 1998-1999 in which a distribution center and increased floor display area was added. There was also a second floor built in part of the distribution center.
