Details: The 67,500 square-foot Student Center sits on the east side of East 14th Street and connects to the Rasmussen Center on the west side of the street by the 156-foot long Jensen Bridge, one of the longest skywalks in Iowa. This building houses student support services, student life offices, the Bookstore, Viking Theatre, the Communication Department, and campus dining. It was designed to provide formal and informal gathering spaces for the campus. It also gives Grand View the ability to host outside groups for meetings and events involving the Des Moines community.
